Living in the Surplus

Shaun Kearney

True prosperity is the ability to be able to meet your own needs, and have sufficient left over to help to meet the needs of those around you using God's power and resources. Those needs may be spiritual, physical, mental, social or material. God wants us to be part of the answer and not just the problem. We all had problems before we came to Christ, but these problems should not remain and control our lives. It's not necessary to be financially prosperous to be a Christian, nor is it necessary to be a Christian to be financially prosperous. But it is necessary to be a Christian for total prosperity. There's only one way to keep your prosperity and enjoy it, and that's to serve God and obey Him.
