I have read most of the books by Shaun Kearney. At first, I thought this author was bearing some sort of grudge but now God has graciously opened my eyes to reveal the apostacy that I have been subjected to over the past 30 years in church life. I'm now free to think for myself. ---John (Auckland, NZ)

Isn't it amazing how one can sit in a church for 20 years and accept everything - hook, line and sinker. After reading "The Counterfeit Church," I realized I had been duped and now feel that I've wasted all these years. I'm now trusting God to restore the years the locust has eaten. ---Duncan (Adelaide, Aust)

Jesus asked his disciples, "Who do MEN say that the Son of man is?" And they said, "Some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets." He said to them, "But who do YOU say that I am?" Simon Peter replied, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." And Jesus answered him, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jona! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. Mat.16:13-17 (RSV).
Some say this and some say that... We have now learnt not to accept the sayings and doctrines of men (either in the church or out of it) until we have tested them in the light of scripture.

There is one thing that is worse than bad doctrine - it is bad doctine that is repeated! Down through church history, bad doctrine has been repeated without being challenged. If we repeat a lie long enough we start believing it, so let's reclaim the truth by studying the Word and taking personal responsibility for what we believe.
